We are in the process of switching over to Tumblr. Rather than doubling up all the information on both Tumblr and WordPress, we are leaving this up as an archive.

IDC-39P & IDC-54P

Spun these Integrated Dust Cap Spacers for Ramon down in Puerto Rico for his flat bike. They feature an integrated headtube dust cap with the stem spacer built into it as one solid unit. Overall heights are 39mm & 54mm.

These can be turned to any diameter or height you need. Included with all of our dust caps are three heat treated stainless spacers to adjust the gap between the cap and your headtube. These cling around the steerer tube and go between the compression wedge and the bottom of the dust cap. Due to head tube, steerer tube and compression wedge variance these are not always needed but we include them just incase.

Redneck LT Overhaul

leave a comment »

This Redneck LT was beat to hell and back. Dings, deep scratches, the bores on the front clamp were deformed so bad the screws wouldn’t come out easily. The rear was pinched and the back side of the front clamp wasn’t flat.

We addressed these issues by milling out the rear slot, boring the holes for the front clamp, facing the back side of the front clamp, deburring and melting all the edges, line graining all the flat surfaces and tumbling the parts. While we had this stem in the shop we added our counterbore mod to the top to fit the compression cap. This stem and compression cap will be fully polished as well. More photos to come soon.

Odyssey Classic

leave a comment »

This was a new in box Odyssey Classic stem. Counterbored and line grained then tumbled. This removed all the logos and gave it a uniform finish on all surfaces as well as melted the edges a bit more. The Sunday compression cap was faced and turned to the same dimensions as our caps for a swap later when we finish up our front brake compression caps.
